Aromatherapy Training

Level 1

Curriculum by The School for Aromatic Studies

This training is offered in four parts toward certification, or a la carte with each class offering a certificate of attendance and the completion of all modules offering a certification of achievement.

Upon completing the Foundations of Aromatherapy Certificate program, participants will be able to apply to NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) as an L1 Certified Aromatherapist.

Topics Include: 

History of Aromatherapy * Holistic Framework & Principles * The Language of Aroma * Medicinal Plants * Methods of Extraction & Storage * Absolutes & CO2 Extracts * Quality & Safety. 

Online Manual included.  $150 (8hrs. Live online instruction) 

Bring your own supplies, or purchase from recommended sources including class kits.

Sat 2/28 & Sun 3/1

9am -1pm ET (Zoom) 

Topics Include: 

 Anatomy & Physiology of the Skin * Carrier & Herbal Oils * Hydrosols * Common Skin Conditions * Anatomy of Olfaction * The Limbic System * Aromatherapy & Stress

Online Manual included.  $300 (16hrs. Live online instruction)

For certification, 5 case studies will be submitted within 2 months of final class—approx. 15 hrs. independent study. Zoom Event.
