This new training takes place over four months beginning with a two-day virtual workshop once a month for 5 months. There will be community building activities and discussion between meetings. The training will culminate with an in-person two-day capstone experience at Duke Integrative Medicine. 

Any Reiki 2 practitioner from any lineage is welcome. 

Topics include: 

Integrating all aspects of the Reiki practice into our life as Reiki masters * An evidence-based survey of the history Reiki * Instruction in Takata and Usui-Tibetan attunement styles * Instruction for teaching all levels of Reiki * Professionalism and ethics * Presenting Reiki to the public * Cultivating unconditional positive regard for supporting clients and students through transformation * Current issues in Reiki research and practicing in clinical settings * Building community and volunteering

Part 1  

Prerequisite: Level 2 Reiki or above from any lineage.
 

This class  introduces World Peace/Holy Fire lineage at the practitioner level. You will receive World Peace attunements (Ignitions) and be able to facilitate World Peace/Holy Fire meditations and experiences, as well as use the Holy Fire symbol and integrate this beautiful and powerful practice into your self-care and sessions with others. If you are already a Usui Reiki teacher, you will be able to use Holy Fire placements as well as your traditional attunements to empower the Usui symbols for your students.
